Shivgami distributes the query sequences and runs the blastx process
amongst the CPU cores of avaialbe Linux machines and merges the results into a single file.
SHIVGAMI is written in perl and developed to be run non-interactively from the
command line, tested on Ubuntu-16.04, Ubuntu-18.04 and CentOS-7.
SHIVGAMI is
easy to install and does not require deep programming knowledge to run. It simply automates
the whole process using ssh connection and able to convert many computers in the lab into a
powerful server without any special requirement of hardware, software and man-power.
